At the beginning of this block the children got to know each other and play some team games which they all enjoyed. During this block the children studied the novel called ‘The Hodgeheg’ and used their literacy skills to build confidence to read aloud in front of their peers and answers questions, make suggestions of what might happen next and design a comic strip of the story.
