This month, we have enjoyed lots of play activities based on our topic “All about me”. We enjoyed playing outdoors in the nice Autumn weather. In Literacy, we have been learning about more of our phonics sounds, keywords, writing lists, captions and character studies based on the Three Little Pigs. In Numeracy we have been working on partitioning numbers and adding them together. We also explored weighing and patterns. We sorted objects outside when we went on an Autumn walk. We had fun on our 2D shape hunt and P2 were learning about 3D shapes and Venn diagrams. In ICT, we completed a class pictograph on eye colours and hair colours. We have enjoyed our Mandarin Chinese lessons. To finish the term, we had a lovely whole school breakfast in the hall. What busy bees we have been!
