A lot of fantastic learning was completed again in March. The children in literacy got to learn new skills of using a dictionary and focused on alphabetical order activities. They also revised nouns, verbs and adjectives as well as learning about comparatives. In numeracy they had a learning focus on time, area, fractions and prisms. They children really enjoyed taking part in the practical activities throughout A.B.L each Friday which reinforced their class learning. Before finishing their Yum Yuck topic they got to use their senses for different foods and use good describing words which caused great discussions. Throughout their P.E sessions the children enjoyed weekly workouts from Core N.I. In art the children got the opportunity to design a front cover of wild flowers for The Fermanagh Show, a lot of fabulous designs.
This month the children celebrated World Book Day. They enjoyed finishing their class novel “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” and loved getting to watch the movie and be able to compare the differences and similarities. They also designed a new wrapper for a new bar of chocolate.
Another fun filled month of learning, Well Done Again Everyone. ⭐️
