After a great discussion about our Christmas holidays and what Santa brought the children were ready for another fun packed month of learning. The children was learning about measuring length and weight within numeracy and in literacy the children were learning about different styles of poems and what’s needed for a good set of instructions. They enjoyed taking part in lots of practical activities throughout all this learning. In P.E we all took part in gymnastics this month following our Core NI program. We also enjoyed having Claire in from REACH each Friday to teach us about our feelings as well as Annie who teaches us Mandarin and she told us all about the Chinese New Year. Our new learning topic this term is Yum Yuck therefore we tried to link our learning to this in other areas.
