Maths Week has been running in all classes from 12-20th October. Everyone has been having fun taking part in lots of practical and exciting investigations and problem solving activities.
P1
- have been sorting a wide variety of objects, thinking about their properties.
- Using 10 frames, dice and counters to combine 2 groups
- Playing snakes and ladders during Outdoor Play
P2
- have been adding 3 groups using 20 frames, dice, spinners and counters
- helping to make a class pictogram about hair colour using self portraits
- Playing snakes and ladders during Outdoor Play
P2/P3 - have had the opportunity to take part in lots of indoor and Outdoor Active Maths Activites.
P6/P7 - have been looking at 12hr/24hr time.
- using the internet to find information on time zones another were using a game to develop their skills in converting between 12/24hr time.
- playing time dominoes and snap
